Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability

In consideration of participating in the Athens AL Pickleball Association activities and events, I, for myself, my heirs or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and agree not to sue the Athens AL Pickleball Association, its directors, officers, volunteers and members for liability from any claims resulting in personal injury, accidents, or property loss arising from participation in pickleball club activities or events. Participation carries with it certain inherent risks of injury both minor and major that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid such. I understand the risks that are inherent in playing pickleball. I assert that my participation is voluntary, that I am physically able to play, and that I knowingly assume all such risks. I agree to hold harmless the association, its directors, officers, volunteers and members from any and all claims, actions, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities including attorney fees as a result of my involvement in the Athens AL Pickleball Association.
